How renting works
- Choose the equipment and your rental dates from the calendar – availability is shown instantly.
- Choose pick-up yourself or delivery and pick-up.
- Pay by card online or choose to pay in cash at pick-up or delivery.
- You receive a confirmation by email and we agree on the pick-up or delivery time with you.
Rental FAQ
What equipment does Byteway rent?
At the moment we rent sound systems, projection screens and projectors. We plan to expand our consumer electronics rental options in the future.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. We deliver and collect the equipment for a fee within 50 km of Tampere, for example to Hervanta, Pirkkala, Nokia, Kangasala, Ylöjärvi, Orivesi and Lempäälä. You can also pick up the equipment yourself from our warehouse in Hervanta.
How can I pay for a rental?
You can pay online by card or in cash at pick-up. We use Stripe as our payment provider.
How do I know if the equipment I want is available?
The booking calendar shows equipment availability in real time. Booked days can not be selected.
Can I book equipment at short notice?
Online you can book equipment starting at the earliest 72 hours from now. If you need the equipment sooner, send a message to store@byteway.fi and we will check availability.
